Where Will You Spend Eternity?

The question for every life regarding Jesus Christ that we all must answer was asked by Jesus Himself when He asked this “But whom say ye that I am?” (Mark 8:27) The Word of God gives us the knowledge and the wisdom to know who Jesus is and why it is so important for you and I to have a relationship with Him. Here are the four steps in knowing Jesus and what happens when we accept Him for Who He is.

You are loved by God.

In the Bible we learn that God loves everyone regardless of their background, race, age or any other factor. God loves you and desires to have a personal relationship with you.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Everyone is a sinner.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23)

No one is perfect therefore no one is without sin. We have all broken God’s commandments. This is called sin. The Bible says that this separates us from God.

Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: (2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. (Isaiah 59:1 -2)

Sin has a price.

The wages or payment for sin is death. This includes eternal separation from God in a place called hell.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Jesus paid that price.

The Bible teaches us that Jesus died on the cross, not for his sins, but for the sins of the whole world. If you believe on Him, He can and will save you today and take you to heaven when you die. He has power over the grave as demonstrated in His resurrection.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

Jesus said…I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (John 11:25)

Jesus is not an addition to all your other beliefs, systems or lifestyles. He is the ONLY way to God. The ONLY way to Heaven.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

TRUST JESUS

The words seem simple, and the steps clear, but it’s a decision you must make for yourself. Will you trust Him only? And will you trust Him today?

Repent & Trust Jesus

If you would like to begin a relationship today with Jesus, you can, right where you are. All you have to do is pray and ask the Lord to be your Saviour for the forgiveness of your sins.

Pray Something Like This

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I know you died for my sins, and you rose again from the dead. You did everything necessary to take care of my punishment. I ask you now to forgive me of all my sins. Through the blood of Jesus, cleanse me. I now, to the best of my ability, open my heart. I ask You to come in, be my Saviour. Change my life. Take me to Heaven when I die. In Jesus name, Amen.
